Education And Postgraduate Training
Education and Training
Dr. Cha was educated at some of the top schools in the country, earning both his undergraduate degree in biochemistry and his Master of Public Health graduate degree in environmental toxicology at the prestigious University of California, Berkeley.
Dr. Cha also excelled in his postgraduate training, receiving a Doctor of Medicine degree at the renowned School of Medicine at George Washington University. He completed his internship at Boston University and continued with his residency training in general surgery at Wayne State University in Michigan. He completed his fellowship training in plastic and reconstructive surgery at the State University of New York Health Science Center in New York.
Dr. Cha has held the position of Chief of Plastic Surgery at New York Community Hospital in Brooklyn, and he has devoted his career not only to caring for his patients but also to training residents and fellows in aesthetic surgery fellowship at many institutions, including the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai, State University of New York Health Science Center, and New York Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital.
