The severity of your wrinkles will determine where injections are placed and how much is needed. Typically, a numbing agent is utilized in the injection area(s) to avoid discomfort. Immediately following your BOTOX® Cosmetic treatment, an additional cold pack or anesthetic cream may be used to further numb the injection site. There is no recovery time needed, and you may resume regular activities immediately after your treatment. Slight bruising can be expected at the injection site, but after effects can differ for everyone. Applying pressure or rubbing the injection area should be avoided for a few days.
Results
Most patients have visible results within two days, but it can take up to one week for the treatment to fully transform the face. Results will vary slightly but typically last up to four months.
